Joeys:  (ages 6-8) 

Joeys introduces girls and boys to the wold of friendships, problem-solving and adventures through stories and craft activities.



Having fun at joeys: 

Joey scouts is the first section of scouts, for boys and girls that are 6 to 8 years old. joeys is a gentle introduction to a world of challenges and adventures through scouting. fun and friends is the main aim!

A trained joey scout leader guides a joey mob of up to twenty boys and girls. joeys learn to share and care for each other in fun and safe social environment. scouting  compliments a joey schooling by extending each child's understanding of the world around them.


What joey scouts do:

Joeys are taught to jump in and help other people (H.O.P) and to share with friends.

Joeys learn how to recognize native birds and animals and develop an understanding of the impact of our modern world on the environment.

The  safety of all joey scouts is very important which is why there are always leader on hand during all activities.


what joeys wear: 

a joey scout mob works together to achieve four main badges- caring and sharing, adventure, environment and the Bubby badge. The badges show everyone a joey scout's awareness of important subjects and their ability to set and reach goals. 


Each joey scout has the opportunity to achieve the promise challenge award before moving moving onto cub scouts.

  



Cubs: (age 8-11)

Cub scouts learn new skills while spending weekends camping and learning bush-craft. they collect special badges to demonstrate their skills and achievements.


Explore cub scouts:

At cub scouts, young boys and girls can make lost of new friends and explore the great Australia outdoors in a safe and friendly environment. 

Cub scouts will learn new skills while taking part in heaps of activities such as camping, bush-walking and bus-craft.

No one has to miss out - the whole family is encouraged to enjoy and take part in cub scouts.


A big wide world of fun:

The health of young people is very important and cub scouts is a great way to introduce them to an active lifestyle - while they are having fun and making friends!

Cub scouts begin taking responsibility for themselves in a safe environment which teachers valuable life skills. scouting also teaches young boys and girls the value of citizenship and how to give back to their communities. 

Each cub scout has the opportunity to achieve the grey wolf award before moving up to scouts.


Your local cub scout hall: 

Weekly meetings at your hall local scouts hall are held to build up skills levels, play games and plan for weekends adventures. 

The safety of all cub scouts is very important which is the why there are always leaders on hand during all activities. all leaders are trained to make  sure cub scouts is fun for everyone!


Scout: (11-15)

Scouts allows boys and girls to develop their confidence and learn to work as part of a team. Scouts learn essential outdoor safety skills as well as participate in variety of physical and intellectual challenges. 


Discover scouts:

At scouts, young boys and girls can take part in heaps of activities that will teach important life skills - while having fun and keeping active!

Kids will make new friends and take part in exciting group activities such as camping, bush- walking, water-sports, cooking, aerial challenges and bush-craft.

Scouts is family friendly - parents and siblings are also encouraged to explore the world of scouts!


Ventures: (15-18)

ventures is built around a do-it-yourself program of fun and adventurer. they fun their own venture unit and get involved in outdoor activities, writing, performing and community services initiatives.


What is ventures scouts:

You will have the opportunity to explore remote parts of Australia, camping above the snowline or driving on coal reefs. imagine abseiling into a limestone cave or climbing a sheer rock face. whatever you do with venture scouts, it's bound to be maximum adventure!There are highly trained and experienced people to guide you through the experience and to teach you the necessary skills and safety technique. ventures also get the opportunity to travel overseas, to live with different communities or provide service to others. 


Having a great social life:

Ventures is about having fun and adventure. there are camps, parties, barbecues and trips so you meet new people and make lifelong friends. 

Ventures also provides valuable "down-time" from your studies, giving you the opportunity to remain refreshed and focused on your schooling
